Two Brothers, One Studio: Meet Goated House

A lot of conversations, one slightly crazy idea, and a studio built after hours. Here’s the story so far.

Two Brothers, One Studio: Meet Goated House

It started with a lot of conversations.

About design. About technology. About brands we loved, and the many things we thought could be done better. At some point we ran out of reasons not to try. So we built the studio ourselves.

One designs. One builds.

That’s the whole setup. One of us is a product designer, the other is a developer. Design and development usually sit in different places, and that’s where ideas get lost on the way to launch. Here, they sit at the same table.

We like to think the 3D glasses on our goat say it well: two lenses, one view.

Built after hours

Goated House wasn’t built in one big leap. It was built in the hours after our day jobs ended, fuelled by chai and a fair amount of stubbornness. There were good ideas, some bad ones and a few late nights. It’s still a small studio, and that’s on purpose: every project gets our full attention.

What we do

  • Product design: from first idea to an interface people can actually use.
  • Web design and development: sites that look good and do their job.
  • Branding and packaging: identities and packaging systems that work everywhere they appear.
  • Marketing assets: stationery, social templates and the everyday pieces that keep a brand consistent.

How we work

We listen first, because every brief starts as a conversation. We sketch loud, with rough ideas and a lot of “what if”. We build precise, so design and code come together without guesswork. Then we ship and celebrate, because launch day deserves some noise.

What we’ve made so far

  • Ecovora Farm: a complete brand and a website for a farm business.
  • Mool Tatva: a packaging system for a 12-product range, designed to work as one family instead of twelve one-offs.
  • Pangong Health: a calm, personal website for a yoga and wellness instructor.

What we believe

  • Strategy comes before decoration. Design without a reason behind it is just decoration.
  • Say it plainly. Clear beats clever, every time.
  • Have a little fun. Good work doesn’t need a serious face.

We’re just getting started

There’s a lot more to build, and we’d like to build some of it with you. If you’ve got an idea, a half-finished brand or a website that needs a glow-up, bring it to the Barn. We read everything, twice.

Why work with us

Every project begins with a conversation.

If you're launching something new, improving something existing or exploring what's next, we'd be glad to hear your story. Reach out and let's see if we're the right fit for each other.
